Wolmark: Create Your Own Happiness

There is no denial that for each and every one of us, in both our lives and our careers, there are some days that are simply wonderful and filled with joy, and there are those days that are too difficult to get through. Due to the uncertain nature of the entertainment business, a career in acting can be accompanied by intense emotional highs and lows. With many years in the entertainment business, Zevi Wolmark has learned how to handle these emotional ups and downs. In order to see the most of his career, every actor must find a way to handle those feelings, and simply aim to be happy as often as possible.

Happiness can help you carry yourself through these emotional rollercoaster’s, and come with a career in entertainment. But in order to remain happy it is important that you learn how to create happiness for yourself. In his career, Wolmark has repeatedly seen actors waiting to reach a certain point in their lives or careers, in order to be finally happy. It is especially important for an actor to have a specific, clear goal for his career. However these goals should not determine you, nor affect your happiness. Instead, your happiness with your work in the entertainment industry should come from the journey which you are on, while actively moving towards with your goals.

For Zevi Wolmark happiness should always come from within. Hence, pursuing your dream should makes you feel happy, and helps you enjoy every minute along the journey. It is very understandable that there will be days of frustration and rejection, just like in every other profession, but as an actor it is really important that you enjoy each minute of your career.

For artist it can be especially hard and challenging to realize their ambition, as they are constantly battling the struggle of trying to make a living of what you truly love to do. Although tough, this can also be an extra reason and a strong motivation to be happy and successful. If you’re having a rough day just remind yourself that it is temporary, and keep a positive perspective.
